With a good 1,100 inhabitants, Eilsbrunn is a small but lively village. It belongs to the municipality of Sinzing (highway exit) in the district of Regensburg.
There are a number of natural beauties and all kinds of experiences to discover right on the doorstep:
The famous Jurasteig trail and the beautiful Burgensteig trail pass practically right by us. Kilometers of hiking trails that have something to offer for every level of fitness.
There’s something for everyone here, with a steep climb, extensive routes but also flat and easy river cycle paths along the Danube and the Five Rivers Cycle Path.
The Regensburg district leisure map provides a good overview. You can browse through everything from via ferrata to museum tours, from shopping trips to swimming excursions, from concerts to open air festivals…
The neighbouring district of Kelheim also offers a variety of excursion destinations.
The city of Regensburg – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – is always worth a trip anyway. Stroll through the streets of the old town, let yourself be carried away by the lively life, do a bit of shopping, take a look at the cathedral, enjoy a musical treat here and there, cabaret, theater, art, lifestyle…..
