We don’t have beer in our blood at the moment, but we are definitely firmly rooted in the old art of brewing! The Röhrl brewery used to bottle tasty beer here within these walls. That was around 1764 – and probably even earlier. We haven’t been brewing for a long time now, but the hospitality, the conviviality, the feeling of being at home – that’s what we’ve retained in what is now the 11th generation.
The former brewhouse with its impressive vaulted ceiling is now – sensitively restored – the heart of our hotel. Much of what we have been able to preserve tells of the past. The structural additions harmonize with this.
